.... I hear my grandmother's voice when he said "oh my mountains" and look beyond the bottom profile of the mountains before me, that's his little country is right on the opposite side of the mountain. The little red church bell tower that gave me the name is there ... beyond these mountains ... I'm excited and happy to be here among these mountains where my grandmother left her heart, to follow a man who didn't spoke her language.

I have travelled for mile searching for something without knowing what.
A photographic trip chasing the beauty whenever it's hidding.
The valley's vastness, the perfectprofile of the mountains and the incredibly infinity sky ... new horizons opening ... new open spaces to discover ...
The noise of the silence take me by surprise.
I'm listening the silence ... the silence is amazing me .... the silence is coming inside of me and little by little ...everything is wonder and silence ...
I have left behind sounds of reveille in the morning, traffic's echoes by now so far,
the fear to never get on time.
I have left behind the anxiety .... unbelievably the knot that sometimes grips me tightly is vanished ...
I'm quite sure ...in this vastness the time doesn't exis!
My eyes aren't my eyes anymore ... I'm an astonished child watching the colors ...
I'm not myself anymore ... I'm feeling so light ... I'm simply a being without body ...
I'm in flight .... I'm breaking away from me ... I'm coming out from my heavy side ...
there aren't thoughts, there aren't time-tables to observe ... there is nothing and anybody.
There is only me light as the air .... there are only my new eyes ...
eyes feed on all this beauty and my soul once more amazed from all this wonder ...
myself plunged in all this color ... I feel the desire to be astonished from the nature's sight.
Suddenly my gaze rest on that horizon line ... the unexpected thought surprise me ... that cloud in the sky ... I'm freezing the moment ... CLICK !

Isola Bella
Lake Maggiore - Italy
Island Bella
First built in 1632, the palace and the gardens of Isola Bella are the most important attraction of Lake Maggore. The numerous richly furbished rooms can be admired when you visit the Borromeo Palace. In the gardens, 37 meters high with 10 terraces, you can find trees and bushes from all over the world, which in the spring, are covered with flowers.

Villa Della Porta Bozzolo
The villa
Built in the 1500s as a country villa, it later became a representative noble residence and was embellished, in the first half of the XVIII century, with an imposing Italian garden, one of the most majestic and harmonious landscape creations today surviving in Italy. The interiors preserve one of the most sophisticated and unitary decorative cycles of the Lombard 1700s, essentially attributable to Varese workshop of Magatti. The body of the villa is flanked by interesting farm buildings, including cattle sheds, stables, cellars, hay lofts and a monumental wine press.

The light of the south
In January I went in the south of France for vacation and to take some shots.
My trip started from Nice -Cote d’Azur and then going around towards south
in Camarge and finally in Montpellier. Monpellier is a strange fashinating town
with a lot of modern architecture thanks to the creations of the spanish architect
Ricardo Bofill.
The shots that most I wanted to take where about nature in Camargue, but coming back home and looking to my shots I noticed that the most interesting subject was the light, that France’s South Light which so much enchanted painters, writers and artists of every age.
So I thought to do a little collection of Black and White shots for exalting this subject ...
I don’t know if I have reached a good result, but I have to admit that .... I have had a lot of fun taking these shots ...
